Settlement of the energy market raises R $ 3 billion in October, of almost R $ 10 billion in operations

 The financial settlement of short-term electricity market operations for October amounted to 2.97 billion reais, out of a total of 9.84 billion in transactions accounted for, the Electric Energy Trading Chamber (CCEE) said on Tuesday, .
The processing, which promotes payments and receipts among companies in the sector, recorded 5.61 billion reais unpaid by agents due to injunctions in which many managed to protect against the hydrological risk in the hydroelectric operation, a legal dispute that has been dragging since the mid 2015.
Another 1.26 billion reais represents other outstanding amounts in liquidation.
