PIB of the 3rd tri "may seem low", but shows strength between sectors, says Meirelles

Finance Minister Henrique Meirelles said Friday that the advance of 0.1 percent of gross domestic product (GDP) in the third quarter "may seem low, but it is strong if analyzed by sectors."
In his Twitter account, the minister pointed out that without agriculture, which fell for seasonal reasons, growth was 1.1 percent. "The cumulative advance in the year to September is 0.6 percent, a number that already exceeds the economists' initial forecast for 2017. This shows that Brazil is on a growth path," he added.
