Citi changes Petrobras' recommendation for 'high risk buying'Citi altera recomendação da Petrobras para "compra de alto risco"

In a report released on Friday morning (1), Citi changed Petrobras' recommendation (SA: PETR4) to buy high risk, with the target price at R $ 21.50, and the closing of the asset was R $ 15.98.
The high risk is attributed to the commercial declaration of the Libra field, which could lead to a return of up to US $ 6.2 billion to the NAV of the state. The consortium's exploration of the field estimates a volume of 3.3 billion boe (barrel of oil equivalent) for the northeast part of the field.
On Monday (27) Petrobras announced to the market that it started production of the Libra block, located in the pre-salt of the Santos Basin. Production began on Sunday from the FPSO Pioneiro de Libra, a floating unit that produces, stores and transfers oil and natural gas.
The Libra consortium is led by Petrobras - with a 40% stake - in partnership with Shell (20%); Total (20%); CNPC (10%) and CNOOC Limited (10%). The consortium also counts on the participation of the state company Pre-Sal Petróleo SA (PPSA) as contract manager.
